On November 3rd, Guy Roofing was awarded the 2022 Business of Integrity Award for Character, Culture, Customers, and Community by the Better Business Bureau of Upstate South Carolina.
The BBB Torch Awards program spotlights businesses and non-profits that exemplify outstanding ethics and whose leaders focus on the four C’s. It’s the most prestigious honor the Better Business Bureau can present to an organization for their dedication to integrity, fairness, community service, and ethical practices.
Nominees were divided into groups based on business size and winners were carefully selected by a panel of judges following a rigorous application process, interview, and detailed evaluation.
Jeff Guy, Vice President of Guy Roofing said, “To get up every day and know that our team is doing everything possible to, not only make our business better, but positively impact our community and the lives of those that call it home, is such a distinguished honor. Guy Roofing is humbled to be presented this award and it motivates us to continue improving all that we do.”
The Gala kicked off with a VIP reception at the Hilton Greenville for Better Business Bureau board members and leaders, event sponsors, Torch Award nominees and their guests. This provided an incredible opportunity to connect and mingle with local business leaders and outstanding students from the Upstate. The reception was followed by a brief introduction by Vee Daniel, President of the Upstate BBB. The event concluded with awarding five Upstate students with $1,000 Student of Integrity Scholarships, which were sponsored by local business, and individual Torch Ethics Awards to the winning businesses.

Winning awards for incredible customer service, honesty, fair practices, and community relations is nothing new to Guy Roofing, as they have spent decades dedicating efforts to improving their performance and involvement in the community. The Guy Family is a staple in the South Carolina community and their kindness and generosity trickles down to their employees.
